“Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me: and to him that ordereth his conversation aright will I shew the salvation of God.” — Psalm 50:23 (KJV)

There is a sacred wisdom in this scripture—one that beckons us not just to worship with our lips, but to examine the very conversations we hold within ourselves. These words don’t just instruct us to speak better to others. They draw our attention inward, to the sacred space of inner dialogue, where the soul converses with the self, and ultimately with God.

We often underestimate the power of our inner conversations. Yet these silent exchanges form the blueprint of our reality. They echo through our emotions, influence our decisions, and determine the clarity—or distortion—of how we see life. In the Hebrew context, the word “conversation” extends beyond spoken words to encompass behavior, conduct, and the internal dialogue that precedes action.

To order your conversation aright is not simply about correcting speech—it is about aligning your inner world with divine truth.

The Revelation: “It’s on the Inside”

Let me share a moment that became a turning point in how I understood this verse—not just intellectually, but viscerally.

One early morning, on my way to an oncologist appointment, I found myself driving through darkness. The road was clear, yet the glare of oncoming headlights made visibility difficult. I reached for the windshield wipers and cleaned the glass several times, but the blurriness persisted. I grew frustrated. Then I heard a voice—not audible, but undeniable:

“It’s on the inside.”

I paused. The problem wasn’t the outside of the windshield—it was the inside. The residue was within.

That phrase echoed louder in my spirit than in my ears:

“It’s on the inside.”

In that instant, I realized this was not merely about a windshield—it was a metaphor.

The issue clouding my vision wasn’t out there.

It was in me.

From Metaphor to Mandate

That moment became a mirror. God was showing me that the blurred perception of my life wasn’t the result of external circumstances alone—it was a reflection of what I had yet to cleanse and confront internally:

Emotional toxins

Unforgiven pain

Lingering self-doubt

Mental and spiritual residue from trauma

We often work hard to clean what’s visible—our image, our environment, our responsibilities.

But what about the inner windshield? The part of us that filters how we see everything else?

The Invisible Within the Visible

Not long after that moment of revelation, my physical health took a turn. What began as subtle symptoms quickly escalated—a near-fatal car accident, persistent chest pain, and eventually, a stroke.

At first, medical tests showed nothing conclusive. But an MRI later confirmed not one, but three strokes. The results were sobering. The body was screaming, yet the true origin of the issue wasn’t merely physiological—it was energetic, emotional, spiritual.

In that season, I was already introspective, but this experience plunged me deeper into myself.

I realized: The physical body often gives voice to what the soul has long been whispering.

When internal chaos goes unaddressed, it eventually manifests as illness, confusion, or crisis.

The Metaphysical Conversation

From a spiritual and metaphysical perspective, your inner conversation is the seat of creation. It is the place where your perception becomes prophecy. What you repeatedly say to yourself becomes the frequency you broadcast to the world—and eventually, what you attract.

“As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he.” — Proverbs 23:7

What you believe about yourself, what you rehearse in silence, what you silently accept as true—all of it weaves the energetic signature of your life.

This is why the Psalmist links ordered conversation with divine revelation:

“…to him that ordereth his conversation aright will I show the salvation of God.”

In other words, when you align your internal narrative with divine truth, you begin to see salvation—not only as eternal deliverance but as daily clarity, healing, and wholeness.

Coming Into Alignment

To “order” something is to set it in alignment, to structure it according to a divine pattern.

To “order your conversation” is to:

Speak to yourself as one beloved by God

Refuse the lies of shame, comparison, and self-condemnation

Clean the inside of the windshield before blaming what’s outside

This is not just personal development. It is spiritual re-alignment.

It is the metaphysical work of becoming who you truly are—beneath fear, beneath pain, beneath illusion.

A Final Invitation

My experience taught me that everything begins within.

When the conversation within you changes, so does your clarity. So does your direction. So does your life. Your breakthrough is not outside of you—it is inside.

So today, I invite you to pause.

To look within. To reorder your conversation. And to prepare for a new level of divine revelation and inner peace. Because your wholeness is not a destination.

It’s a reflection of how you choose to see—

And what you choose to believe—

On the inside. Look Deep!!!!!
