THE WIND THAT GIVES MY VOICE WINGS

“The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear its sound, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes…” John 3:8

There is a sound that does not originate in the earth.

It is the wind of God—Ruach Elohim—the divine breath that carries revelation, brings alignment, and gives wings to the voices of those chosen to speak what Heaven is saying.

It is the wind that gives my voice wings.

The Wind of God Is Not Just Movement—It’s Alignment

In Genesis 1:2, we encounter the Spirit of God—Ruach Elohim—moving upon the face of the waters before God even spoke a word.

“…And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.” Genesis 1:2

Before divine utterance came divine movement. Before creation, there was alignment.

The wind of God does not blow aimlessly. It shifts atmospheres with precision. It clears paths with clarity. It prepares the environment for the Word of God to manifest.

The wind always comes before the voice—because it prepares the way for destiny to speak.

The Wind Comes with Fire, Clarity, and Power

When the Holy Spirit descended on the day of Pentecost, He came as a mighty rushing wind—with fire and heavenly speech.

“And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind…” Acts 2:2

With that wind came:

Boldness

Tongues of fire

Divine utterance

Supernatural recall

Heavenly clarity

The wind changed their language—and gave their voices divine direction. The once-silent now declared boldly. The fearful became fearless. The waiting turned to walking.

That is what happens when God’s wind moves upon your life.

The Wind Doesn’t Just Move—It Separates and Stabilizes

The paradox is powerful:

The wind brings stability by removing what is unstable.

It uproots what was never truly planted.

It reveals what cannot remain.

“His winnowing fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clean out His threshing floor…” — Matthew 3:12

When God sends His wind:

False structures fall--Idols are torn down

Impostors are exposed--

Dead branches are removed

Only what is rooted in truth, righteousness, and purpose will remain.

The Wind Carries the Voice of the Risen

In Ezekiel 37, God tells the prophet to prophesy to the wind—to call forth breath from the four winds that it may breathe upon the slain.

“Come, breath, from the four winds and breathe into these slain, that they may live.” Ezekiel 37:9

It was the wind that brought resurrection.

It was the breath of God that caused dry bones to stand like an army.

It is the Spirit of the Lord that gives your voice the power to call forth life from what appeared lifeless.

Your voice, when carried by the wind of God, becomes:

A weapon of righteousness

A seed of destiny

A sound wave that echoes the will of God in the earth

Let the Wind Speak Before You Do

If you’re in a season of divine stirring, don’t panic. Don’t try to control the shift.

Yield to the Wind. Let it do its work.

Let it:

Burn what needs to die

Separate what needs to be cut off

Align you for where you are going next

And when you open your mouth to speak—you won’t just be talking.

You’ll be releasing a word that rides the wind.

Final Reflection

The wind of God is not just atmospheric—it’s prophetic.

It gives your voice power.

It gives your message wings.

And it gives your soul the clarity it needs to move forward without looking back.

So let the wind blow.

Let it rise.

Let it carry you.

Because the wind is giving your voice wings.
